Create a one-day event service

Sometimes you want to create a service that is only available for one day, a conference, a convention or something similar. However, you don't want to show a calendar for only 1 day, now what do you do, how do you create a service like that with TuriTop?

Follow these instructions to do just that:

Creating the service

The first thing to do is to create the service so it will be ready when you install it on the webpage.

Step 1 - Create a new service

Go to the Services tab and click on Add new service.

A new window will appear. Make sure that the Tour / activity option is selected as shown in the image.

Click on Save and Preview.

Step 2 - Configure the Schedule

Go to Schedule and find the section Add events that repeat on a weekly basis and click on the red Xs to delete them

In the Schedule section go to Add individual events and add the date and time of the event.

Step 3 - Deactivate the Gift Certificate

Go to the Miscellaneous section and scroll down to Gift certificates and disable them

Step 4 - Add all other information that you want

Now you can add all the specifications to the service that you want, comments, ticket types, other customization, etc.

Step 5 - Insert the CSS code

Go to the design tab on your control panel and you'll see where you can write the code. Add this code to the bottom:

.product-P8 .opacity-hi {
opacity: 1;

Make sure to change the "P8" you see in the code with the service number of your own service.

Click on publish

Install the widget

Now you have to install the widget. You have to add the iframe to your website.

Notice the difference between the iframe that you can see on your control panel:

<iframe style="width: 100%; max-width: 500px; min-height: 382px;" src="" width="300" height="150" frameborder="0"></iframe>

And the specific iframe for the one-day event:

<iframe style="width: 100%; max-width: 500px; min-height: 382px;" src=";settime=10:00&lt;br /&gt;" width="300" height="150" frameborder="0"></iframe>

See how the url changes, that is because we are telling the browser to open one date and time specifically and there is no need to open the calendar.

Before installing the iframe into your web page you will have to change the parts which are

  1. Company id: You'll find it in the top-right corner of your control panel
  2. Service number: You'll find it next to its name on the Service tab
  3. Date: the date you established in the single event. Note that it's DAY/MONTH/YEAR.
  4. Time: the time you established in the single event

After that just copy the iframe into the space you reserved for it on your webpage and the result will be something simmilar to this:
