As you know, through the booking system TuriTop<\/strong> you can create random, one-time-use promotional code packs<\/a>. This functionality is very useful as it speeds up the creation of these and helps to improve the cross-selling of your different products and services.

There are three steps involved in creating and sending the discount codes: First, create them in TuriTop, second add the codes to your MailChimp subscriber list, and finally send the email to the list.

Let's start step by step:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Create Promotional Codes at TuriTop<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Here's how to generate promotional codes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to the service where you want to create the codes and go toPrices and Discounts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose what type of discount you want to make: Percentage discount (%), different price per ticket (\u20ac), subtract from final price (\u20ac) and different final price (\u20ac).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Determine whether you want it to apply to all ticket types or to a specific ticket type.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on multiple promotional code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. In the repeat box indicate the number of codes you need to generate and in the prefix box if you want the codes to start with a certain word or letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click on create and that's it. We now have our single-use promotional codes generated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Add Promotional Codes to your MailChimp list<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    In the instructions below we assume that you want to send each subscriber a single-use promotional code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Export your MailChimp contact list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. In the CSV file that is generated, delete all columns except the Email column (this will make the import faster).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Create a new column in the CSV file called e.g. Promo Code.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Add the promotional codes generated in TurITop for each contact in the Promo Code column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Import the CSV file, which contains each subscriber's email address and promotional code, into your MailChimp list. When importing, you will need to create a new Discount Code column.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      You will now have a discount code associated with each contact on your MailChimp list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Send Promotional Codes to your MailChimp Subscribers<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      Now that the promotional codes are in your MailChimp list you can send each contact their code. Here are the steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Create a new campaign in MailChimp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. In the Design tab of your campaign, add the Discount Code tag to the part of the email where you want it to appear.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Test and send your campaign.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
