How to configure my TuriTop booking system to generate a Black Friday discount?
Generating this type of discount is very simple. What we want to achieve is to create a promotional code (BLACKFRIDAY19 for example) and can only be used on Black Friday itself or the whole week, but never before or after. This does not mean that the customer cannot enjoy the tour or activity on another day, but they must purchase within that time frame.
- Step 1: Access your TuriTop control panel.
- Step 2Go to Services >>>> click on the service you want to apply the Black Friday discount to.
- Step 3Go to Pricing and Discounts. There you can generate discounts of different types; we are going to focus on a 10% discount of the final price if the customer types the word BLACKFRIDAY19 only from November 25th 2019 until November 30th 2019. Take a look at the image below and you will see how we have set it up:

- Enter 10 to apply a 10% discount.
- Write BLACKFRIDAY19 (or whatever you want). This will trigger a new box in your booking widget for your customer to type in, allowing you to also know the number of people who have seen your promotion and finally decided to make a purchase and take advantage of the Black Friday discount.
- Choose the option "Purchase date range". This is very important because we are going to make the system take into account the date of purchase, not the date of the tour or activity.
- Enter the start date (25-11-2019) and end date (30-11-2019). If you want only Black Friday to apply, you must choose the option "Single purchase date" and choose 29/11/2019.
