Can I participate in the programme?
To qualify for one of the 240 free licences, your company must meet the following requirements:
Operational website
You must have an active website where you can integrate the booking engine.
Presence in social networks
At least one active profile on Facebook, Instagram or other relevant networks
Google My Business updated
Google company profile with up to date and visible information
Company in the Canary Islands
Registered and operational tourism activity in the archipelago
To access the acceleration scheme you must not count currently with any online booking engine, nor have had one in the last year. This condition is essential to be eligible for the licence.
Tours, sea excursions, whale watching, adventure activities, hiking routes, gastronomic experiences, wine tourism, cultural activities, and any tourist experience developed in the Canary Islands.
A programme designed to boost tourism in the Canary Islands
Canary Islands Tourism has launched the Acceleration Plan for Online Marketing of Tourism Experiences in collaboration with TuriTop, the leading online booking platform for tourism activities.
The objective is clear: to enable Canarian experience companies that do not yet have a booking system to go digital. free of charge for one year, to reach more tourists and increase their sales.
Each participant will receive full access to TuriTop's booking system, guidance and support to set it up, and tools to sell from their own website, social networks and platforms such as Google.
