How do you ensure that no more seats are sold than there are tables available?
Each product has its own actual capacity. You can link the rack (for example, 8 inflatable boards) to availability: when 8 spots are sold in the 10:00 time slot, TuriTop prevents a ninth spot from being sold, even if another instructor could accompany the group. You only sell what you can actually put in the water.
Can I have both hourly rentals and guided classes in the same system?
Yes. You set up each type as a separate product: open-hour rental (rate in €/hour; customer chooses duration), beginner class (fixed time, assigned instructor, 1h30 with equipment included), guided tour, SUP yoga, or sunset paddle. The products share the same inventory of boards, but each has its own rules regarding price, duration, and capacity.
What happens if I cancel a session due to strong winds?
You cancel that session's bookings from the panel and each student gets their email from your own domain. Affected bookings are converted into vouchers redeemable (validity is configurable), with a code that the customer uses to reschedule via email. The day’s revenue is not refunded; it is carried over to a future date with a favorable balance.
Can you require payment in advance to prevent no-shows?
Yes. Each product can be configured with its own payment policy: full payment online, a deposit (for example, 30% upon booking and the remainder at the beach), or 100% payment at the beach. You can offer short-term rentals without a required payment and instructor-led classes that do require one. This reduces the number of reserved spots that don’t generate actual revenue, especially in the summer.
How do I handle groups for bachelor/bachelorette parties, companies, or schools?
Each product allows for group bookings. You can set prices per person with volume-based discounts (10 people = 10%, 20 = 15%, etc.) and block the entire session by setting the product as a private session (capacity = whole group). You can also create specific “Closed Group” products with a fixed price per time slot and a blocked capacity.
